This position's primary role is to serve our appetizers, pizza and desserts to the folks who are hungry for more. Then after our guests leave, you make the tables shine for the next happy customer. We seek a person with maturity and availability to work days and nights, as well as weekends. Must be able to work Sundays and holidays. We are open 7 days per week. This is an hourly position plus tip pool, and we have full and part time positions available. We are seeking a long term food runner/busser/cashier. The ideal candidate moves quickly in the dining room, doesn't stand around, looks for ways to go above and beyond to make our customers happy, and smiles a whole bunch. We seek rock steady, reliable cooks to work on the main hot line preparing food for customers. The ideal cook takes direction well, is eager to learn, has some cooking and knife skills through experience in professional kitchens and works fast, without compromising quality. Here's your chance to work with some of the best quality ingredients, making everything from scratch. We make the sausage, the sauces and the cheese. You'll learn about making everything in house. We know no boundaries when it comes to food in our kitchen. We smoke food, cure food, pickle food, cook food, massage food, caress food and love food. We want your help. We seek cooks who understand our menu requires the same attention to detail as fine dining, but in a more casual venue. We'll teach you some things and you will show us a trick or two. Can't wait to see you in action behind our line in an open style kitchen. This position is primarily nights and weekends with 5 shifts per week including Sundays, and holidays and is high volume. This is an hourly position. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Any previous leadership experience also puts you ahead of the pack. Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts please. We ask that you have at least 1 year in a professional kitchen before applying for this position.

Pompieri Pizza seeks a Chef de Cuisine to run the kitchen.
Located in flourishing downtown Durham, NC, Pompieri Pizza creates an experience. We set the standard for Neapolitan pizza in our area. We invite you to explore Pompieri Pizza where we make everything in house - mozzarella cheese, sauces, charcuterie, gelato and more. We approach our food like a fine dining restaurant, but in a casual setting.
A great opportunity for a rising star coming from a finer dining background who is ready to take the reins and continue growing in our environment. Or a seasoned chef looking to further their career. We are a fresh, from scratch kitchen. Our freezer is for gelato only.
At Pompieri Pizza, the Chef de Cuisine oversees the back of house operations, creating daily pizzas, maintaining our food standards, working with local farmers and pushing our quality higher every day. You will have a hand in daily ordering, forecasting, hiring back of the house employees and maintaining food cost. This is a full-time position requiring, days, nights, weekends and some holidays.
Accountable for the quality, consistency and production of the pizza restaurant kitchen. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Coordinates menus, purchasing, staffing and food preparation for the restaurant. Works with the team to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Develops and trains team to improve results.
